HON. ADEMORIN KUYE’S ACTIVITIES AT THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
The atmosphere was filled with gladness and joy on Monday February 17, 2020, at Bariga LCDA Banquette Hall where Hon. Kuye distributed JAMB dockets and registration slips to hundreds of beneficiaries.
It was a wonderful outing as the Chairman of Bariga LCDA, Hon. Kolade Alabi, Bariga, Vice Chairman, Hon. Adeola Kuponiyi, Bariga SLG, Hon. Bukola Adedeji, Apex leaders, wife of our Honourable MHR, Princess Olayemi Bashua-Kuye, Ward Chairmen, the new Mandate Chairman of Bariga LCDA, Alh Aloso and others were all present to grace the occasion.
HON. KUYE EMPOWERS HIS CONSTITUENTS WITH TRICYCLES
The same day Hon. Kuye distributed JAMB dockets to 100s of beneficiaries, he also gave FREE Tricycles to his constituents.
Beneficiaries of the tricycles were filled with immense joy and gladness for being remembered by our eloquent MHR.
Nigerian Police Force need to be well taken care of to improve service delivery- Hon.Kuye.
He made known his views immediately after the public hearing on Nigeria Police Reforms.
Contrary to what we have been hearing regarding the 1st timers at the National Assembly that they are usually bench warming for 4 years; Hon. Ademorin Kuye, a very serious, dogged and brilliant Member of the National Assembly within his first official 30 days in office was able to present bills and various motions at the Green Chamber.
Secondly, before he resumed at the National Assembly, he visited the National Orthopaedic Hospital to check the welfare of the National Hospital and how he could use his office to bring progress and gladness to the staff and patients of the hospital. This led to the development of a motion for the Federal Government to as a matter of urgency; attend to the various needs of the hospital, ranging from infrastructural development, provision of medical tools and gadgets.
This motion was presented on the floor on the House of Representatives on Tuesday July 23rd, 2019, remember, Hon. Kuye was sworn in on June 11th, 2019.
In addition to the bills and motions already presented at the National Assembly, Hon. Ademorin Kuye has also raised lots of Points of Order on the floor of the HoR.
He supported a motion and also raised an amendment to bring the Independent Power Project of the Federal Government to Somolu Federal Constituency to support the Printing Industry.
Due to his contributions so far and willingness to wholeheartedly serve the nation, he was appointed the Deputy Chairman of RULES & BUSINESS COMMITTEE.

Recently, Hon. Ademorin Kuye was also appointed the Secretary General of the Lagos Caucus House of Representatives members, proudly supported by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
Hon. Ademorin Kuye in a meeting held with his team at his National Assembly office, he reiterated the promises he made to the youths, mostly the unemployed ones in Somolu/ Bariga during his campaign to assist in providing job opportunities to everyone using his good office. He is not leaving any stone unturned.
Hon. Kuye on November 19, 2019 presented a motion on the need to investigate the incessant non-combat crashes of the Nigeria Air Force planes.
On Friday November 20, 2019, Hon. Ademorin Kuye represented the President, Mohammad Buhari to decorate Rear Admiral Yakubu Wambai at the decoration of newly promoted Naval Officers of the Nigerian Navy at the Naval Headquarters, in Abuja.
In year 2019 alone, he did not only buy Hundreds of JAMB and NECO GCE forms for children in the constituency, he has also financed their individual registrations and pre-exam tutorials.
KUYE IN THE CLASSROOM: November 25th, 2019, Hon. Kuye visited Angus Memorial High School, Morocco and Ajayi Crowther Memorial High School, CMS, Bariga to impact handsomely on the students.
On November 26th, 2019, Hundreds of Petty Traders in Somolu Federal Constituency received financial support from our eloquent Honourable, programme which was fully covered by journalists from within and outside Lagos State, present were party leaders from both Somolu LG and Bariga LCDA.
On December 4, 2019, he presented a bill calling on the Federal Government to organise a more befitting and hitch free overdue and long awaited National Population Census to enable the nation have proper statistics and to enable the nation plan properly for its citizenry.
December 19, 2019, in his bid to ensure his Constituents have a hazard free celebrations, cleaner and zero canal blockage; Hon. Ademorin Kuye and his proactive team fully cleared the long Canal from Baptist Road to Charley Boy, Gbagada Phase II in Bariga LCDA.
March 23, 2020: Hon. Kuye presented a bill calling for the compulsory registration of birth and death by amending Section 17 of the principal Act placing responsibility of the mandatory registration in the hands of local government or area councils.”
He said compulsory registration will “lead to accurate statistics for planning, making informed economic decisions, provision of required facilities and empowerment where necessary.
“Mandatory registration of birth will ensure that government monitors every child birth from the cradle through school and employment to the grave.”
April 25, 2020:
During the Covid-19 lockdown, Hon Kuye distributed three phases of covid-19 relief packages in a more unique manner while maintaining social distancing to complement the works of the State and Federal Government.
May 12, 2020:
H.E Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila inaugurated an Ad-Hoc Committee to investigate the Federal Government Abandoned Properties and Assets, Hon. Kuye was collectively picked by the members to Chair the Committee.
Delivering his speech at the inauguration Hon Kuye informed the general public that the committee won’t succumb to any form of intimidation, he said the committee will perform and surpass the expectations of the house.

AFTERMATH OF #ENDSARS: HON. ADEMORIN KUYE DONATED N5MILLION TO ALADE MARKET TRADERS WHO SUFFERED LOSS
Hon. Kuye’s heart was filled with sorrow when the information of how Alade Market and Police Station were razed intentionally by the hoodlums who took advantage of the #ENDSARS protest.
On getting to the scene of the destruction on Thursday November 5th, 2020, Hon. Ademorin Kuye, a very humane being immediately called for the release of the sum of N5,000,000.00 (five million naira) to be given to all the market traders directly affected by the inferno. The money has immediately been handed over to the Market leader.

What seemed unachievable to some came as a great surprise when suddenly, Hon. Minister Sunday Dare showed up to grace the occasion where hundreds of Somolu/ Bariga residents and Youth were already waiting earnestly to welcome him.
Hon. Sunday Dare promised the Sportsmen in Somolu to establish a Sports Academy in the Federal Constituency to give room for more talent discoveries.
Finally, the Honourable Minister promised the Youth of his full support in their quest to take advantage of the ongoing and upcoming Federal Government Youth Intervention programmes.

ICT TRAINING. ALL PARTICIPANTS OF THE TRAINING AT BARIGA LCDA AND SOMOLU LOCAL GOVERNMENT GOT LAPTOPS FREE OF CHARGE
When a leader is blessed, his community is also blessed beyond imagination. Friday December 11 and Saturday 12, 2020, Hon. Kuye facilitated an ICT/ Computer Training for the residents of Bariga LCDA and Somolu Local Government respectively.
It was a wonderful and unbelievable event because an unexpected thing happened where all participants got laptops.
This happened live today in Bariga LCDA and Somolu as against the thinking of many.
Participants were singing and dancing, their hearts were filled with bountiful joy and appreciation because Hon. Kuye has been able to teach them how to fish.
Remember, a good leader builds other good leaders, a good leader moulds other great leaders and prepare them for today and tomorrow’s challenges.

KUYE SETTLES THE COMPLETE SCHOOL FEES OF MORE THAN 10 STUDENTS IN SOMOLU/BARIGA
The complete School fee of one of our 2020 UTME/ JAMB beneficiaries, Ibrahim Adewunmi by name, who gained admission into University of Ilorin has just been settled by our indefatigable and proactive MHR, Hon. Ademorin Kuye.
Over 200 Residents of Somolu Federal Constituency benefitted from the first phase of the
Health Insurance Scheme Package, valued at five hundred thousand naira (₦500,000:00) per beneficiary. A program designed to run continually.
Construction of Blocks of Classrooms for conducive learning environment. A laudable project completed in record time.
As part of his efforts to support the State Government in public hygiene, Hon. Kuye constructed a public toilet with borehole at Ashogbon Market in Bariga.
EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMMES OF NOVEMBER 23RD AND 24TH, 2021
Honourable Kuye Empowered over 800 residents on Tuesday and Wednesday November 23rd and 24th, 2021 respectively.
In what seemed unrealistic and unachievable for a first timer at the green chamber, Hon. Ademorin Kuye has done this in grand style and it has really touched the hearts of his people.
Since assumption of office, Kuye has continuously been on numerous people-oriented projects.
In his words: “I feel extremely sad when my people are in dire need or when they suffer deprivation of any sort”.

Consequently, he has firmly resolve to assuage the plights of the people in his magnanimity to touch the lives of his constituents in different ways.
At the events, Hon. Kuye gave Petty Traders financial succour to aid their businesses, with number of beneficiaries amounting to over 320 while otehrs got various empowerment items.
Apart from the financial support, he also empowered artisan and youth with 80 pieces of 10.1 inches Android powered tablets, Hairdryers, Clippers and Generators for Barbers, Grinding Machines, Laptops etc. This will enhance them to fully utilize the ICT and achieve global recognition and inversely aids self-improvement and financial breakthrough.
While addressing constituents at the programmes, he said: “More dividends of democracy are still on the way, residents should expect more in no distant time”.
Present at the programme were government functionaries, traditional rulers, Community Development Association, captains of industry, members of All Progressive Congress (APC) from both Somolu and Bariga,members of traders and artisan association, members of physically challenged association,non indigenous association, students association and residents of Somolu Federal Constituency.
Over 1500 students have benefitted from Hon. Kuye’s annual FREE JAMB forms.
Poised to promote academic excellence, Hon. Kuye, in his habitual magnanimity, did not stop at FREE JAMB forms distribution, but also went a step further to fully pay the school fees for five of the beneficiaries of his Annual FREE JAMB forms distribution scheme who gained admission into various Institutions of Higher Learning.
Donation of fifty million naira (N50,000,000.00) worth of pharmaceuticals and medical materials to Somolu /Bariga medical centers through the Federal Ministry of Health
NATIONAL IDENTITY PROGRAMME
Free registration of National Identification Number (NIN) across all the wards in Somolu Federal Constituency commenced in all Secondary School, continued at the various wards. Thousands of residents benefitted from this exercise. All the registration slips have been submitted to the schools and others.
SOLAR POWERED BOREHOLES
Construction of over 20 Solar powered Boreholes. This is laudable, as residents will no longer have to contend with the perennial erratic power supply faced when they are in dire need of water.
